El primer dia de cole!

Que bien! The day finally arrived! Granted I have been waiting for this day for awhile now…it was a hectic and crazy day.

Our wake up call was early than it has been the entire time I’ve been here, so a bit of a struggle for the kiddos. Then we had to get everything done and ready within the hour. Needless to say, this morning was crazy, but we did it and made it out the door to school!

I got a few hours of peace and quiet before Jaime and Eugenia arrived home. Studied some Spanish, looked at schools and relaxed. Time flew by and it was 2:45 and I had to pick up them up at the bus stop. (After waiting around for 40 minutes, the bus finally got there. Come on, I know it’s the first day of school, but sheesh…that’s wayy to late.) For the next 7ish hours…it was non-stop.

We played and talked about school. They both drew pictures of the family on vacation. I was included in the family drawings. *Queue melting heart* Then we had a snack, along with a few time outs. And some sweet relief for about 30 minutes when they took a nap. All too quickly the siesta time passed and we were up and heading downstairs to skate, scooter, and play with friends. After playing, bath time and dinner, then bedtime. Sheesh. It’s been a go-go-go kind of day. Looking forward to what tomorrow has to offer!

  1. They are precious indeed. First day of school has arrived. Yay! Thank you for continuing the tradition of our family with the kids. I loved the “first day” of school pic.
